Don't's when under contract

Buying a home is very exciting, and with that there are many items you want to buy for your new home. Don't go out and splurge while you are under contract. Make sure to wait after you have closed if possible so there will not be any hiccups in this closing process. Through my experience there have been some issues arise with buyers going out and buying new cars, opening credit cards, financing furniture, or even changing jobs. These are all things that have inspired me to write a blog about what you should not do while under contract.

1. Don't buy furniture or finance new items

2. Don't Change jobs- can cause delays at closing

3. Don't open new lines of credit

4. Don't put large deposits of money that cannot be sourced

These are just a few items of what not to do. Make sure to ask your lender for more information or contact me as your Real Estate Professional to direct you to a lender you can speak with.
